Extinction Rebellion marched in force this afternoon on the Australian Embassy in The Hague and petitioned its Ambassador

Australian Embassy, The Hague, The Netherlands, Thursday 16th January. 2020. Extinction Rebellion - The Hague and Extinction Rebellion - Rotterdam, joined forces this afternoon and marched on the Australian Embassy in The Hague, to petition its Ambassador to The Netherlands Mr. Matthew E K Neuhaus and; to protest the inadequate response of the Australian government to Climate change. Past weeks have seen thousands of animals suffer and die and traumatized iconic mammals, indigenous only to Australia. Where a once lush green landscape of forest now charred and turned to ash, a stark reminder of what’s to come, if changes to the climate are not meet now. The demonstration was also in solidarity with the indigenous Aboriginal people of Australia and Rebels from XR Australia. Imaged: Extinction Rebellion - Red Rebels. © Charles M Vella/Alamy Live News
