Protesters in The Hague, are calling for the Dutch government to
Plein, The Hague, The Netherlands. Wednesday 2nd June, 2021. Republican People’s Party – CHP, the second largest political party in Turkey and second only to Erdogans’ ‘Justice and Development Party (AKP), help a protest in The Hague this afternoon. The demonstration was against the son of Tuckey’s former Prime Minister Binali Yilipin. The protesters are calling for the Dutch government to investigate the (alleged) criminal activities of his son Ekram in The Netherlands. Turkish mafia boss Sedat Peker has claimed that Erkam Yildirim is part of a major international drug trafficking scheme, and was recently involved in a shipment of cocaine from Venezuela to Turkey. The shipment was intercepted on the 9 June 2020, in Colombia and 4.9 tons was seized. According to the Washington Post, Binali Yildrim has publicly denied the allegations made against his son, asserting that the claims made by Peker’s were “definitely slander, lies and I strongly reject it.
